Operation Brown Skirt / Operation Size 18 Emmerson 3/4 length Jeans

As previously stated...this is NOT an original idea of mine! I stole it...many of us are stealing it....or should I say jumping on the bandwagon...and I LOVE it!!!

I don't own a dress that is too small because I have never been smaller than my current size since I was 13...sad but true...and I don't buy clothes that don't fit. I usually wait till the last minute to buy something for finale...gotta work on that.

For now I'm going to focus on the only size 16 item I have - my beautiful brown skirt.

 

 

 

My loving husband bought me this skirt at a market in Toowoomba during my previous attempt to kick the excess weight. I lost 32kgs on a to-remain-nameless program which I could not sustain and packed it back on plus more. Anyway, he bought me the skirt in the biggest size they had cause I just LOVED it and said I could use it as incentive....well 7 years later the skirt has followed me around - and now I'm going to work my way into wearing it!

For the protection of your eyes I will take the photos with the skirt over my head, gradually working it down as I shrink further and further until it fits!!!! In the meantime I will start shopping for a goal dress too!!

Week 2- 23/05/13

Operation Brown Skirt

So this is the skirt put on over my head, and obviously not sitting at waist level. What we should see in the coming weeks, is the skirt moving slowly down further over my hips and eventually zipping up!!!

Week 3 - 31/05/13

Operation Brown Skirt

This week I stepped into the skirt and actually got it up over my hips!!!! AMAZING!!! It is WAY too tight still but this is the furtherest 'on' I have EVER had this skirt. So excited!!!!

Zip nowhere near doing up yet!

Well the shock of a lifetime just hit me when I tried on these pants again. Remember last week (scroll back if you want) I couldn't do them up. I had about an inch between the button and the hole if I pulled...This week I got them done up!

 

The massive muffin top isn't entirely attractive and my undies stick out a bit at the back but surely they are denim and they'll stretch a little....won't they????

 



 

Well the plan is to dye my hair, have a shower then I'm putting these pants on while I pack for my trip to Brisbane and I'll see if I can get away with wearing them today!!! I'll post a photo if I decide  to go with it!!!
